What you can expect at your veterinary practice
Scheduling
Call or text us to set up an appointment. We'll arrive within an allotted time range, patients are dropped off at your practice for an 8 AM (morning) or 12 PM (afternoon) appointment.
On arrival
We set up our equipment in an exam room or another room that can be darkened, and prep your patient. A large area will be shaved for abdominal ultrasounds, please remind your client beforehand.
The scan
Each ultrasound takes approximately 30 minutes. We share the images with you on-site as soon as we're done.
Reports
If you request an interpretation, our board-certified radiologist partners deliver a detailed report within 24–48 hours of our visit.
Specific appointment times can't always be guaranteed due to many variables, number of stops and locations, extra procedures and complications, traffic, and weather.
ABOUT THE OWNER
With over 30 years of experience spanning veterinary clinical care, academia, research, and the medical device industry, Abby brings a rare depth of expertise to her work. A Purdue University Veterinary Technician program graduate, she has collaborated with leading organizations including the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, Purdue University's Department of Biomedical Engineering, ACELL, Inc., and WITKO Inc. Her work has contributed to more than 22 peer-reviewed publications and the successful launch of products that have improved health outcomes for both animals and people.
Abby resides in Brookston, Indiana with her husband Ron, their three children, and two grandsons. At home, she continues her lifelong dedication to animals, raising Limousin cattle, 4-H pigs, and two Labrador retrievers.
